We like to keep our willing employees up to date with current first aid training. Thanks to First Aid Corporate Training for coming in and providing an excellent session.

On Sunday, 14th July, a few of our team braved the cold weather and the early start and participated in the 2019 Somerset Rail Trail 25km cycle event in support of The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail Users Association. It was a great day for a great cause. Smiles and laughter all around.

Congratulations to Neil Jones for obtaining his Senior Road Safety Auditor status. With over 23 years’ experience, this is another big milestone for Neil and complements his role as Principal Civil Designer with Projex Partners.

Jarrod King has been a valued employee with Projex Partners for almost 3 years. Jarrod has recently taken the next step to become a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ). We would like to congratulate Jarrod on this achievement and we are excited to see what the future holds.

A few of our key team members and valued clients had the pleasure to participate in this years UDIA Golf Day. It was a great opportunity to network with other industry professionals in a more relaxed environment.

Projex Partners partakes in this event yearly, and once again it was a success all round.

Recently, Projex Partners took the opportunity to get together for a team dinner. Good laughs, good food and great company!

One of our Principal Civil Designers, Jason MacKenzie recently competed in a boxing event held on the 12th February 2018 at Caloundra RSL. Jason won the title of WBF Super Heavy Weight Australian Masters Champion and will be defending it later this year in June 2018.

Awesome achievement, well done Jason!!

Coolum Eco Park (a UDIA six leaf Enviro Development Project by Economic Development Queensland) – Take a look at how close to the Bruce Highway and Sunshine Motorway, great lot shapes and sizes and the fantastic amenity.

We are very proud to have been the layout designer and development managers for the project.

Projex Partners was very proud to sponsor a team for the annual Somerset Rail Trail Fun Run, held on the 9th of July 2017.

It was at 5:00am when the Projex Partners team set out on their epic journey. A two-hour road trip sandwiched between a fairy floss sunrise and a setting full moon had the eager participants at the start line in Brassall, Ipswich. The team of 8 had an age gap of 40 years. The bikes, possibly more!

Opening the field up early, the Projex Partners team broke away from the peloton by spending the first 20 minutes of the ride at the start line. A couple of mechanical faults and a few photos later they were back on track.

The ride was a pleasant 24km along the newly opened Wulkuraka to Fernvale section of the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. The long consistent grades of the hills made no match for the Projex Partners team who found support in each other riding as a pack.

Mandarins were shared at the finish line as the team celebrated a great day of cycling. “When is the next ride?” and “I can’t feel my legs” were just a couple of the responses given by the participants when asked about the day.

Congratulations to Somerset Regional Council and Brisbane Valley Rail Trail Adventures for putting together a great event.
