Engineering co moves to Maroochydore, Coast’s new “centre”
MAROOCHYDORE continues to attract businesses from other areas of the Sunshine Coast, with local engineering firm Projex Partners next month relocating to 135 Horton Parade from their current Birtinya location.
Managing Director Jeffrey Bess said relocating to new premises would accommodate their projected business growth while also recognising Maroochydore as the centre of the Sunshine Coast and as the Region’s Principal Activity Centre.
“We’ve been delighted with our growth over the past few years and we are thankful to the Sunshine Coast region for the opportunities that have underpinned our business’s success so far.
“It’s great to be located here on the Sunshine Coast which continues to see major investment in infrastructure development across the region and we are excited to be moving to the heart of Maroochydore.
“We are currently assisting with the delivery of services for the new Maroochydore CBD (former Horton Park Golf Course) through designing new roads and intersections that provide the necessary access to the future city centre.
“It’s an exciting project for the whole region and it’s great that our team can offer their vast expertise to this world class greenfield project,” he said.
The relocation to a new office follows the announcement last year that experienced Principal Engineers Lucy Dahl and Daniel Berry joined Jeffrey Bess and Peter Mathers as directors of the business.
“Lucy and Daniel bring a wealth of experience across a wide range of projects to our team, they are highly regarded with our clients and during their time with us have shown exceptional dedication and leadership which has helped support our staff and grow our business.
“They certainly enhance the depth of our capability in the areas of project management, planning, design and construction phase services particularly in the areas of public infrastructure and urban development which we see as growth opportunities for our business,” Jeffrey said.
Projex Partners will be located at 135 Horton Parade, Maroochydore (widely known as “The ANZ Building”) from February 1 2016.
